READY TO REBUILD YOUR LIFE AFTER GRIEF, LOSS OR TRAUMA?

You can find strength, healing, and hope.

Welcome! I am Zack Reed-Fier (He/Him), a licensed Psychotherapist offering in-person & online therapy in CA.

I help adults pick up the pieces of their lives and find relief from the pain and overwhelming emotions after grief or trauma.

Feeling Overwhelmed & Stuck?

Many people struggle with the overwhelming sadness, anxiety and emotions that accompany grief and loss. When faced with the loss of a loved one, life can feel like it comes to a standstill.

It's painful to see the world moving on while you remain frozen in time. While others seem to resume their normal lives, you may feel lost, unable to find your footing. The constant thoughts of your loved one/s can be all-consuming, leading to feelings of guilt, anxiety, frustration, and shame.

Grief is a complex journey, often unpredictable and fluid. Emotions can surge unexpectedly, interfering with your daily life and relationships. You may find yourself struggling to be the partner, parent, child, sibling, friend or employee you want to be.

Don't let grief define you. With the right support, you can learn to navigate your emotions, find meaning in your loss, and rebuild your life.

Having to face ourselves while grieving, coping with loss, or finding ways to move forward can be really hard.

If you want to find what your new normal following loss is,

I’d love to help you get there.

Call now, I can help.

Before Grief Counseling, clients feared they would never feel whole again.

The loss left an emptiness or void within themselves that was all consuming. They worried it went beyond just coping with grief, depression, loneliness, and anxiety to becoming more withdrawn, bitter, jealous, resentful and even enraged. They were pretty certain they were never going to like people, find happiness, or connection again. The grief and loss hurts to the core and you deserve to be kind to yourself while you grieve.

You're not alone. Grief counseling can provide the support you need to navigate this difficult time.

With my guidance, you can:

  • Come to terms with your loss. Process your emotions and find a way to honor the memory of your loved one.

  • Gain closure and move forward. Discover a sense of peace that allows you to continue your life's journey.

  • Find a safe space to express yourself. Grief and Trauma therapy offers a confidential environment where you can share your feelings openly and honestly.

  • Receive ongoing support. When family and friends may be struggling to cope with their own emotions, I'll be there for you, offering a listening ear and understanding.

  • Find meaning in your loss. Together, we can explore the significance of your loved one's life and how their memory can continue to enrich yours.

Let's work together to find healing and hope after loss.

What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose for all that we love deeply becomes part of us.”
— Helen Keller

What is therapy with me like?

I offer a collaborative and supportive environment where you can explore your emotions, discomfort, and deepest thoughts. My goal is to hold a safe space for you to turn towards your grief, trauma, and struggles to better understand your unique needs.

I bring compassion, empathy, and curiosity to my work while also challenging you with a more directive approach to therapy to help you overcome emotion obstacles. My intention is to help you process your grief or trauma in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

With years of experience working in hospice care, addiction, disaster response, and healthcare settings with clients facing loss and pain, I'm comfortable discussing very difficult and sometimes very uncomfortable topics. Together, we'll navigate your journey toward healing and find a sense of peace and resolution.
